Chance Fortune and Luck are words often missused.

When you put yourself in a postion that you have to rely on
others, and or the odds, you are taking a chance that what happens

When you Drive your car at high speeds through traffic, or dive into
unkown water. You are being Stupid and are relying on luck.

If you decide to enter a business venture and work hard and
study everyting you need to learn you are being a good business man.

i have no luck at all. i buy about ten bucks worth of those scratch off lottery tickets a week and the most ive ever won is ten dollars. the guy i work with has won five hundred at least three times on the same tickets i buy. thats bullshit. :

teh...Generally, the harder you work, the luckier you get...its mostly preparing for oppurtunities, right?...things always happen and you are lucky or unlucky based on how well you have prepared to receive that oppurtunity...


good luck: buying shares 100 of a tech stock last year at $60.00 and watching it climb to $141.00 to close friday

bad luck: buying the same amount of shares of coca cola this february

I've run into the same thing myself. Nobody sees the late nights and long work weekends, nobody sees the tight finances, but when it all finally comes together... I'm a lucky bastard.
