I wont comment on Mark's need to be heard, even if it is just to say he doesn't care... but the comments in the thread at http://www.banditsbabes.com/forum/ is direct quotes from Roadhouse... so I am not sure what your point is. THEY know who he is, and commented. That is how he impacted them. He appearently had no effect on you, but here you are... again.

I didn't konw him well. Worked with him... I wanna say three times. Twice as The Jeff Healey Band thing.. and once... maybe twice as Jeff's Big Band. 25-30 blues and Jazz performers. His impact on me is a very calm, subdued guy, that can throw a switch and CRANK IT OUT. The gimmicky laptop guitar playing that everyone knows him as is easily his smallest talent. He can play most instruments... but damn, he could pour in outta that horn. Such control of the trumpet, making it seem effortless. Then ten minutes after the show... cool as a cucumber again.

I wont be going, or sending cards or that kinda thing... but I will miss him in my own way.

In other Roadhouse news, Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer. It's a small limited amount, and he is epected to recover. Despite the rumor, he had only five weeks to live, which of course is untrue. The doctor's say he is responding well to his treatment. So that's good news. Hope he is able to get rid of it.
