Weirdest Movie(s)?

Well, Theres this Movie Coming Out called "Shutter" annnnnnnnd when I read Who the Creators of This movie was it WAY freaked me out haha! The Grudge and The Ring, (It Looks like its Basically gonna be The RING 3 or Something*) But Yeah seeing The Preview of That movie Just makes me Shudder! =)

i think that movie looks bad, just like every other awful Japanese remake. "The Ring" and "The Grudge" were the only ones to get it right. Even then "The Grudge" was so-so. "The Ring" is pretty much the high standard from Japanese adaptations so far.

Killer Klowns was more of a cult movie as well. It was good though. It's one of my campy-horror favorites.

Yeah The Ring (The First One*) movie TOTALLY Freaked me Out! Ive heard of the Japanese Version (The One The American Version is Supposed to be Based on*) I Think its called "Ringu" but I havent Seen it tho! Hmmm.... but Yeah Wheres Francesca dani! =)

I have "Ringu" and thought that one is kinda boring. So in terms of remake "The Ring" took the original's premise and upgraded it, thanks to Rick Baker's make-up for Samara and Gore Vebinski's very keen detail for directing. However to really prove that Hideo Nakata (he was the creator of the "Ringu/Ring" series) had a good premise but not great execution. Look at "The Ring 2", which was weak compared to the "The Ring." Some asian directors don't really cross-over well. They can do good asian films, but be lousy with american films. Point in case John Woo, while some of his American films are good, he can't do the quality of his earlier asian films here. Same with Miike too sadly. His asian films are good, however his episode for "Masters of Horror" "Imprint" was so-so. Although it is recognized as the one episode too risky for Showtime.

Death To Smoochy?
Insomnia?
Dead Poets Society?

Those are the only roles I know of that he comes off sort of as a writer. Hook he was an adppoted son of J.M. Barrie since he was once Peter Pan. Death to Smoochy he was a kid's character. Dead Poets Society he was an English teacher that inspired to write poetry. If there's any others I can't remember.
