Why was Leslie banned?

Before I say anything, I would ask that the reason or reasons for her banning be made clear to me.

If it was for stuff she said -- what exactly did she say that was so horrible it warranted banning?

My bet is it was based on past performance - which is fair.

Spots not changing and things of that nature.

while I, in real life, am a firm proponent of giving people second, third, etc chances...i don't know that the banning was "stupid". I would say: unnecessary.

People that annoy me online, I simply ignore. "Leslie's" personna is given SO much attention at NNB etc, and I don't understand it. It indeed takes two to tango. It's impossible to argue with oneself. Even you lawyers can't do that!

In all communities there are rules. The rules vary from community to community. On this one we have a no flaming rule. She came on started her usual attitude which was not acceptable and therefore was banned. If you can't play by our rules you will be asked to leave. It is that simple. If you think you can spoof a proxy and trick our security system then you will definitely be banned permanently which is what she/he did.

I disagree with you Mr. Campbell. There are rules, just likes laws of a society when they are broken you don't "ignore" that you do something about it. Mr. Mark here working as an attorney should know that rules should be applied fairly and evenly. If she is here to cause trouble or insult other members of this community then she is in violations of our rules. Therefore she was removed.

I respect your opinion. However, if "Leslie" had been allowed to stay. Let's say for example he/she/it decided to "flame me". If I don't respond, what's going to happen then? Nothing? Like I said...it's very difficult to argue alone.

If everyone does the same, what happens then? It disarms the offender. If no one bites...he/she/it will either go away, or get in line.

That's just the parent in me talking. I really don't care one way or the other about the banned poster.
