Default Holy shit, it's COLD
Christ, it was -48 °C here this morning with the windchill. That's -54 °F. I've been in cold weather before but I'm not sure I have an analogy to describe weather this cold.

I had a ski mask on (which covered my mouth) and every time I breathed in it felt like someone was pouring a bucket of ice cold water down my throat, but much, much colder, my lungs felt like a refrigerator. I had to walk along looking straight down at the ground, when the slightest wind caught me in the face it felt like I was balancing ice cubes on my pupils. Thank God I only had to go outside for five minutes!

Took me 15 minutes to warm up when I got inside, I had thermal gloves on with padded gloves over the top and my hands went numb. I had pins and needles in my legs.

And it's going to be like this until Thursday.

That was yesterday here..now today it's colder and tonight we get 6 inches of snow with 50 mph winds and a windchill of -18. Prepare Cass!
