If you could have been born in another Era what would you chose?
I think I'd pick 100 years from now I bet Cass' grand Daughter will be running the forum by then and Wanky will still be posting |

my fathers age and generation, he was a teenager in the 50's and in his 20's in the 60's in brooklyn NY. Think goodfellas, that was his neighborhood and he new most all the people referenced in that movie.
Plus the ever changing times and watching the Country go from highs to lows. or the WWII generation |

![]() Well, just 20 years before I really was. That way the height of music (1967-1973) would have happened while I was in college. Go see Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc for like $5. Plus it's after the pill, but before AIDS. A good time to be naughty.

being female, any other time in the past is not quite as easy as right now. so perhaps just before now or just after would be best. i don't feel positive enough about human kind to want to be around a hundred years from now.

I wish I had been born either during the period of 1946 - 1951 or in about 1980.
1946 - 1951 because it would have meant coming of age in the mid to late 60's. That seemed like an awesome time to be a young person (as long as I didn't have to go to Vietnam, that is). I say 1980 because this way I wouldn't feel so old on these message boards

I think I'd just like to go back and re-live my high school and college days, but this time have my grown-up brain instead of whatever it was between my ears back then.

In fact, there are very few people that WOULDN'T do that, given the choice.
