Who do you THINK will win each game, and who do you WANT to win each game?


Championship: Ohio State (11-1) vs LSU (11-2)

Southern California (10-2) against Illinois (9-3) in the Rose Bowl
Hawaii (12-0) vs Georgia (10-2) in the Sugar Bowl
Oklahoma (11-2) against West Virginia (10-2) in the Fiesta Bowl

The college bowl system is so stupid. An 11-2 team is in the "championship" instead of a 12-0 team? To me, this says, "No matter how awesome your team is, they cannot be the champs."

That's because the major conferences are in control, and will NEVER give it up unless forced to.

See an undefeated Utah team only get to play Pitt and KILL them(2004 season)
See undefeated Boise State beat Oklahoma (last season)
Even if Hawaii beats Georgia it will change nothing.

I would have liked to see Hawaii get to play Ohio State or LSU.

The only thing I know for sure is that Illinois will lose the Rose Bowl by about 30 points ... and we'll probably have to sit through a crappy interview between Brent Musburger and Dick Butkus in the booth at some point during the game... I might shoot myself. :
