Default So how was your weekend?

Share with the class.

What did you do this weekend? Good weekend, bad weekend? Fun weekend? Good moments, embarrassing moments?

Tell us.

Me, I did not much of anything friday night. My wife went out with some friends, I got to pick her up and take her home.

Saturday I did some shit around the house, changed some doors and some hardware around, watched some college football. Saturday night, went out with some friends from college - dragged them away from their wives and kids for our monthly guys night out. Had a few drinks, heard a decent band, watched some of my friends try to flirt with girls.

Sunday - watched football (man, the Jests suck, huh?), ate a real good meal, had brownies for desert, watched the D-backs lose again.

Work sucks.

So how about you?

Well there was:

The Good-Went out to the City on Friday night with friends,

The Bad-had to work some on Saturday with a hangover,

And The Ugly-I watched the Jets on Sunday.

Friday was my last day at my temp job. i got home and watched the hawks and wings. after that i showered and when i came out there was a 17 year old girl on my bed. haha. weird. so i chatted with her and found out why she was in my house. then her, my brother and his gf left and i watched the rest of the canucks and oilers game.

Saturday, i went to the hawks and stars game. then came home and fell asleep after watching the canucks and oilers.

sunday i watched football all day and then went to a bar for the night game cause my friend and his gf were fighting so he had to get out of the house.

and now im looking for work again. so up till now it was pretty good

Friday night: watched the Rangers dominate the Capitals from possibly the worst seats in the history of seats (they said "limited view" on them and they were not wrong -- to see one of the goals, I had to either stand or slide way forward in my seat). My nephew skated on the Garden ice, so that was fun.

Saturday: school and then more school; night was dinner and a movie -- Michael Clayton -- meh.

Sunday: took my daughter out driving and then football, more football and then baseball/football.

I hadn't heard of that one, so I just looked it up. the trailer seems to have a feel like HBO's Tell Me You Love Me, only with laughs...

A good date movie or not?

I'm not so sure it would be good for that.

The sex is a plus, but there is a lot of loss - divorce, death, etc. At times it can be a very heavy movie.

But I did find it entertaining, and thought provoking. Not the typical lighthearted fare one might expect with Greg Kinnear.
