Nirvana - Unplugged in NY DVD - Nov. 20th

The legendary unplugged concert is finally hitting DVD properly in an unedited 60 + minute performance. The DVD will feature rehearsal footage and other behind the scenes footage never seen before.


I'm personally excited about this. Not only was it a great album and performance. I have some personal ties to this. I believe just after this was done, I happened to meet one of the musicians asked to be on it. That guy was Kris Kirkwood of The Meatpuppets. I never asked him about this or Kurt, both time we met sadly. I did bring up Kurt once, maybe.

dude, the meat puppets fucking rock, lucky to meet one of them i would say, get meat puppets 2 and too high to die, both great records

and i have listened to the unplugged cd numerous times, will definitely get the dvd

The second year I saw Kris, didn't talk to him much. He signed my CD as Krissy, which is probably a friendly joke. "Too High To Die" is a favorite of mine.

Holy mother of god. Best DVD news I've heard in a long time. This is up there with the Monster Squad DVD release.

Thanks to you i had to find those albums and download them. I've never had "II" but "Too High To Die" I had on cassette back in 94.
