They cancelled Carnivale after two seasons, even though the story was supposed to go three seasons. The final episode was a cliffhanger, and no one ever got to find out what happened next.

Deadwood had a lame ending, because HBO was going to produce two feature-length movies to wrap up the story, but then they decided not to do the movies at all.

Lucky Louie was the funniest (and most daring) sit-com ever. Cancelled after one season.

Sorry folks, but HBO sucks the big one. Showtime is where it's at.
